filament is an instrument plugin. Load it like any other virtual instrument.
Setup
- 1Create a new MIDI track
- 2Drag filament (VST3) onto the track
- 3Click the instrument slot on an output row to load a plugin
- 4Select a plugin from the VST folder — it will be added for quick access
- 5Connect an input voice to the output row to hear sound
That's It
filament hosts instruments internally. All routing happens inside the plugin — no external MIDI routing or track grouping required.
Tip: Set "MIDI From" to your controller and arm the track to receive MIDI input.
